Spencer Kilgore

3D Visualization Artist

I graduated from the Wentworth Institute of Technology with a degree in Industrial Design, and my passion for crafting physical prototypes brought me into the role of a Model Maker and Rapid Prototype Engineer. Relocating from the East Coast to Los Angeles, I took on the position of Senior Model Maker at Hasbro.

When the Covid-19 pandemic reduced the demand for physical samples, I viewed it as an opportunity to diversify my skill set. I ventured into digital model painting, a move that expanded my professional toolbox. This newfound skill enabled me to collaborate with various brands globally and participate in the design process remotely. This transition allowed me to move into the role of a 3D Visualization Artist, witnessing my creations come to life. My work enhanced our marketing teams ability to sell in a product much earlier in the production timeline than previously. Additionally, I acquired proficiency in animations, bringing an extra layer of story telling to the products I worked on.

The creation of animations became a rapid and effective means of illustrating a product's functionality during early development, offering cost savings compared to traditional photography studios. As a 3D Visualization Artist, my contributions extended to Hasbro's Direct to Consumer website.

In my spare time, I enjoy family time, working out, trying new foods, and doing my own art. You can view my personal work at www.KilgorePerspective.com, which showcases my passion and creativity outside of work.
